Our Literacy Gala theme this year was Hogwarts.  It was an incredible night of fun and fundraising.  We had the honor of John Thomas (USC Chief of Police) as our speaker to talk about the power of literacy, reading and community.  We gave away our 1st annual Be A Book Hero™ award to Vince & Toni Espinoza.   Thanks to all that attended and those who donated items for our silent and live auctions.  Check out the Harry Potter themed book box … can’t wait for it to get to it’s new home!  It was an awesome night to Be A Book Hero and getting books to kids.
